Solaris Prods Presents the Theatre Adaptation of H.G. Well’s The Time Machine for the First Time in Hollywood

LOS ANGELES – Dec. 26, 2007 – For the first time in its theatrical history, Hollywood will host the theatre adaptation of H.G. Wells’ literary work The Time Machine at the legendary Women’s Club of Hollywood on Jan. 25th of 2008.

First published in 1895 and considered to be one of the greatest science fiction novels of all time, The Time Machine has been adapted into two films, at least one television movie and countless comic book adaptations. It has also indirectly inspired many works of fiction across the sci-fi genre. For the first time ever in the new year, theatre goers in Hollywood will experience the work live!

Adapted to the stage by Julian Bane (Lead/Producer) and Phil Abatecola (Writer/Director), The Time Machine will have 12 performances that will transport audiences into a future where they will experience an event to remember. Also notable is the intricate, handcrafted centerpiece of the entire play, “the time machine” and the multi-layered sets designed and built by the lead actor, Julian bane.
